The Town of Mamaroneck offers the following curb to curb transportation options for residents age 60 and older living in the Town of Mamaroneck and Villages of Larchmont and Mamaroneck. Reservations are required for all services as listed below.

Senior Bus Service to & From Local Shopping 
The Senior Bus Service provides weekly transportation to Stop & Shop. Shoppers are limited to 1 hour and no more than 3 bags of groceries each. A nominal contribution of $1 is requested for this service. 

This service is available Wednesday mornings and afternoons. 

Reservations are required and must be made at least 1 day in advance by calling the Senior Center at 914-834‐8840 between the hours of 10:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.  Note: If necessary, a companion or aide may travel with you at no extra cost. Passengers must be able to enter and exit the vehicle on their own.

Occasionally, the Senior Bus schedules special trips to other shopping centers such as The Christmas Tree Shop and Arthur Avenue.  These special trips are announced in the Monthly Newsletter and the Monthly Calendar of Events.

The Senior Transportation Program is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and is offered through a grant from the Westchester County Department of Senior Programs and Services.

In October 2015, the New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) approved the Town of Mamaroneck's competitive application for funding under the Federal Transit Administration's (FTA) Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities (Section 5310) program to receive a grant of $49,614 toward the purchase of a new Senior Bus. The Town of Mamaroneck will provide matching funds of $12,403. (20% of the total cost) toward the purchase, as required under the grant.
